The new 750-tonne Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 mobile crane enables the Knaack-Krane to extend its fleet upwards.
The new Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 crane delivers excellent load capacities and is suitable for a wide range of uses. In addition to its performance, the 9-axle Liebherr crane has also impressed Knaack-Krane with its economy. The LTM 1750-9.1 can travel on public roads with its complete telescopic boom at an axle load of 12 t. Moreover, it self-erects very quickly once it reaches the site.
"Our brand new 750-tonne mobile crane from Liebherr will enable us to enter into a completely new performance range," is how Knaack-Krane explains its decision to buy the LTM 1750-9.1. The Liebherr crane delivers outstanding load capacities in terms of both radii and hoist heights. Knaack-Krane plans to use its new crane for jobs in industry, construction and wind power. Its performance makes it ideal for the steadily rising requirements in this sectors which require ever larger prefabricated components to be moved and assembled. Immediately after delivery from the production plant, the Liebherr crane headed straight to its first job where it proved its worth in the assembly of wind turbines at St"ßen-Teuchern wind farm near Leipzig. In addition to celebrating the arrival of its new crane in November, Knaack-Krane was also celebrating its 50th anniversary. Since it first opened for business in 1963 the company, which now operates throughout Europe has stayed true to its slogan "...nobody is faster!"
