The new product launches strengthen Schwing Stetter´s expertise in concrete technology.
Schwing Stetter India, a leading concrete construction equipment manufacturer in India, has unveiled five new products along with five new variants at Excon 2013, the seventh edition of South Asia´s biggest construction equipment event. The newly launched products, SP1300, SP3000, and TSM 20.8 the new concrete pumps and CP 45 and H1J the new batching plants, span the concrete pumps and batching plants segment. The products were unveiled by Anand Sundaresan, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Schwing Stetter India, and Mr. VG Sakthikumar, Whole- time Director Operations, SCHWING Stetter India.

SP1300: The SP 1300 is a pump with a whole row of qualities and new features designed to facilitate customer´s need tp place concrete at medium heights with lesser power. This concrete pump has a concrete flow of 37 m3/hr. and has a maximum pressure of 85 bar. It can handle maximum size of aggregate up to 30 mm.
SP3000: It is developed with 156 bar concrete pressure which is ideal for high- rise projects. It gives more output and more pressure with less power consumption. This pump is capable of pumping larger quantities of concrete to greater distances, both vertical and horizontal. It helps in smooth pumping in high- rise projects with reduced risk of concrete back pressure.
This pump comes with added features like Schwing Generation 3- pump kit and has open loop for better fuel efficiency. Other features includes twin circuit, dual shifting cylinder, high pressure rock valve to handle the harsh mix, lowest cost per cum and ease of rebuilding. Schwing G3 design continuously draws hydraulic oil from the tank and circulates it through the filter and high efficiency cooler. Even when the concrete pump is not engaged, this separate hydraulic circuit continues to operate for protection and performance.
Schwing G3 hydraulic system has a 3 high flow control block which is the brain for the whole hydraulic system. The block incorporates the soft switch into the relief valve and the accumulator manifold into the S3 spool valve for a compact, simpler design. Multiport shifting is an important part of the twin circuit system, which uses accumulator pressure to switch the S3 valve. Faster switching of the S3 translates to smoother pumping. The S3 block and system accumulator are separated from the control block and located near the tank and hopper for easy access.
TSM 20.8: TSM 20.8 is a space optimised shotcrete machine with 8M boom on truck. A foldable two-section boom coupled with a rotatable horizontal axis makes it versatile and easy to use in tough shotcreting jobs. The curved profile of the tunnel can be followed in a single joystick movement on the remote control unit. This small but power boom is suitable for tunnels of sizes starting from 5M to 10M.
CP45: CP45 plant is the result of the desire expressed by many existing customers to have a plant that falls between the popular CP 30 and M1. This compact batching plant can be offered in compartment batcher, inline silo and star batcher versions. Like all SSIPL´s batching plants, this plant also comes with standard advantages of easy erection and user- friendly control system. This plant is of very high reliability and comes with a reasonable price.
The CP45 is most suitable for small and medium construction companies, middle segment RMC players. It also finds application in the segments where customers wants to provide high grade and high performance concrete (using micro silica, ice, etc) with medium capacity batching plants.
The versatile horizontal batching plant which was, so far, available only between 1.25 to 6 cum, is now available in 1 cum per batch capacity too. Being a trendsetter with over 48 years of experience in batching plants, this plant is specifically designed to cater to different requirements of the Indian construction industry. As a standard feature of all Schwing Stetter batching plants, this plant also comes with very low operating costs and a faster ROI, is more flexible to the customer´s changing requirement and is available with a conveyor feeding option. Apart from the capability of handling mix recipes for higher grade and special grade concrete, this plant is also ideal for construction projects like road, bridge, canals, etc.
Five new variants
SP1400 (Mahindra engine) new version This has a modularised chassis frame with a completely new look and arrangement. The new chassis frame is stronger yet lighter. The revised chassis has a stronger axle. The chassis is balanced so that it is easy to maneuver at site and it exerts a very small load on the towing vehicle as the height of the towhook is appropriate for most LCVs. The hydraulic routing is simplified and the number of connectors are reduced by 50 per cent. The modular version can accommodate different makes of engines like Duetz, KOEL, Mahindra and Ashok Leyland, as also accommodate hydraulics of Rexroth, Eaton and Kawasaki pumps.
S36 with twin circuit
Twin circuit, as the name implies, has one hydraulic circuit for the differential cylinder and another circuit to switch the rock valve. This helps in the smooth changeover of the rock, independent of the quality of the pumped concrete. The rock and the hydraulic valves connected do not slam/pound but switches across smoothly. This results in improved wear life of the cutting ring, kidney seal, kidney plate and slewing cylinder.
SPB25 on XCMG rower mast
This highly flexible separate placing boom (SPB) can now be offered for improving building constructions along with the tower crane mast. This can be offered on 5T, 6T and 10T tower crane masts to help increase production. The concrete pipeline can be routed without any modification on the tower crane mast.
AM 3 SHN:AM 3 SHN is ideal for the delivery of small loads of concrete and can easily enter narrow roads and can be easily maneuvered on hilly terrain and sharp bends. It can enter city roads all day long. Optimised hydrostatic drive to suit 3 cum/4 cu m mixers. The hydrostatic drive is specially designed for 3 cu m/4 cu m mixers. The new optimised turbo- charged, water cooled engine is to improve fuel efficiency and also to deliver high torque.
AM 7 SHN2: The naturally aspirated and well-proven Mahindra 705 DI Engine is offered as an alternative to the air- cooled engine. This modularised engine can provide higher torque and marginally improved fuel efficiency, thereby reducing the cost of concrete.
