JCB India offers a new range of road compaction equipment with three products - the VMT330 (3T class mini tandem roller), the VMT 860eco (9T class tandem roller) and the JCB116 (11T class soil compactor). The JCB116 soil compactor is the latest addition in the JCB's road compactors portfolio.
The new JCB116 comes with a state-of-the-art JCB Diesel Max engine, providing fuel savings of 5-10 per cent. The JCB116 soil compactor is equipped with proven German vibration technology and is designed to give more compaction per litre. It guarantees the desired compaction density in a minimum number of passes.
JCB India is the first manufacturer in the industry to offer an in-built compaction meter in its range of compactors. Designed and developed in India, the compaction meter ensures uniform compaction as the operator exactly knows where to stop and the number of passes that are required to achieve the desired density. This leads to uniform compaction density and savings in fuel as well as time. It helps in reducing the number of passes and also avoids over compaction.
The JCB116 soil compactor offers the best-in-class operator environment with ergonomically designed steering wheel. The cab platform is mounted on four viscous mounts, to isolate it from any vibrations and to make the operator feel comfortable even during high amplitude passes.
All the JCB compactors offer lifetime lubricated centre joints and also offer grease-free bearings. This saves the costs of lubrication and also reduces the possibility of failures due to any negligence in greasing the joints.
