Ajax Fiori launched the very first 26 m boom pump in the Indian industry. Made out of high grade and light weight steel, the 70 cu m output can be mounted on a 4X2 chassis. These traits of AF 26ZX makes this machine an economical choice for customer, according to the company.
K Vijay, Executive Chairman, Ajax Fiori, unveiled the network map of Ajax Fiori which showcases its pan India dealership network with 30 offices and 87 touch-points. Transit mixers being the most clichT product in the concreting industry, Ajax Fiori wanted to provide a solution which would prove helpful to the customer. With the help of advancement in the trucking technology in India, Ajax Fiori announced its entire fleet of transit mixers, ranging from 6 to 10 cu me which would run on the truck engine itself, eliminating the need of an additional engine, saving the customer on capital investment.
Jacob John, Director, Ajax Fiori, launched the biggest machine of the entire fleet, the Inline Bin Batching Plant of 120 cu m. This machine is designed in a modular fashion which reduces the time taken to erect and dismantle the whole machine which in turn helps the customer with his project deadlines, the company said.
BEML launches new wheel loader
BEML has launched 5.4 tonne, 3.1 cu m bucket wheel loader BL30-1 at Excon 2017 at Bangalore. Designed and developed by BEML R&D, this rugged wheel loader was unveiled by Amitabh Kant, CEO, Niti Aayog, Government of India, in the presence of Deepak Kumar Hota, Chairman and Managing Director, BEML, Shobana Kamineni, President, CII, BR Vishwanatha, Director (Mining & Construction), and RH Muralidhara, Director (Defence). According to the company, the BL30-1 front-end wheel loader is designed for maximum equipment utilisation, with best-in-class fuel-efficient engine, ergonomically designed cabin added to superior production performance. This wheel loader is suited for various loading applications and provide higher return on investment.
BEML also showcased other construction equipment such as BG605I and BG405A motor graders, BE220G hydraulic excavator, BL9H backhoe loader in this exhibition.
Escorts unveils pick-n-carry crane
Escorts Construction Equipment (ECE), the construction and material handling equipment manufacturing arm of Escorts, launched India's safest pick-n-carry crane (as the company claims), CT Smart 15, at the Excon 2017 in Bengaluru, along with soil compactor 3212 in 12-tonne class and upgraded Hydra series pick and carry crane. The newly launched CT Smart 15 crane has unique anti-toppling and anti-lifting features that provide enhanced safety on the site. Developed with indigenous R&D, in sync with Make in India, CT Smart 15 crane has turning radius of just 6 m that competes with today's SUVs, the company informs. This crane provides Auto De-rated load chart in articulation along with many other standard features.
Escorts also showcased its robust product portfolio in material handling, soil compaction and earthmoving equipment. All construction and material handling equipment from the Escorts stable are BSIII emission norms compliant.

JCB introduces backhoe loader with AMT
JCB India introduced backhoe loader with an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) called Easy Shift. In line with its philosophy of being a Full Range Infrastructure Equipment Partner, the company has also introduced its largest 'Made in India' machine - the JCB 380LC, a 38T tracked excavator.
Speaking on the occasion, Vipin Sondhi, Managing Director and CEO, JCB India, said 'We are, as always, delighted to be a part of Excon, South Asia's largest Construction Equipment Exhibition. Through continual innovation, range of intelligent machines is being used in infrastructure projects, and not only in India, but also in over 85 countries where JCB's 'Made in India' machines have been exported to.' JCB at its exhibition area had a dedicated 'Livelink Zone' which was set up to provide a Virtual Reality tour on JCB's Innovation and Future Telematics Technology.
According to the company, JCB India is the first manufacturer in the world to offer Easy Shift AMT on a backhoe loader. It allows gear shifting to take place with no operator effort through a rotating knob below steering wheel thus, replacing the gear lever. This facilitates ease of operation, a rested operator and also ensures better productivity.
This new backhoe loader is packed with 30 new innovative features, including 15 industry firsts, and five world's first such as an SOS switch, Economy and Power Mode, Guide me home, Smart App machine Diagnostics.
JCB also introduced an all new 38T tracked excavator with two variants - the JCB 380LC Xtra and the JCB 380LC Quarry Master (QM). The JCB380LCQM offers 16 per cent higher lifting capacity owing to a combination of high hydraulic power and high operating weight and provides 6 per cent more output while handling blocks. The JCB Dieselmax engine return a 3 per cent high fuel efficiency and generates high torque at low speed to suit the job needs.
The JCB 380LC Xtra comes with a powerful engine and its hydraulic performance gives the power to do more than expected. The wide range of heavy duty buckets can be used as per different applications and strata to maximise output which is available from 1.4 to 2.3 cu m. Power boost feature increases hydraulic system pressure to provide higher digging force and lifting capacity when needed.
Also on display at the expo were the JCB 116 soil compactor with Compaction Monitoring System (CMS) integrated with Livelink, Livelink enabled diesel gensets, telehandlers, the skid steer loaders and the Super Loader.
KYB-Conmat launches 4 new equipment
KYB-Conmat, a subsidiary of KYB Corporation of Japan, launched four new construction equipment during this show. The new fixed form concrete paver, fitted with gang vibrator is very useful for city and village roads, and can pave concrete roads from minimum 2.5 m up to a maximum of 20 m in one go. This versatile paver can be used for paving canal slopes and bed, and hence offer better payback on investment.
The new side discharge conveyor can spread uniform concrete in front of the paver without disturbing the reinforcement or drainage filters, so better speed of paving can be achieved.
The new 9 cu m truck mixer with slave engine offer the customers a choice to use any truck chassis without the power restriction. The company also launched a high speed one tonne rack and pinion elevator targeted for small residential high rise buildings.

LiuGong India announced the launch of two all new products - 921D I excavator and 611 compactor. Mahindra launches new backhoe loader series
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd announced expansion of its existing range of backhoe loaders with the launch of its first higher horse power variant - SX90 under the aegis of its established brand EarthMaster.
