As General Sales Manager, Pankaj Jha provides leadership on all sales-related activities of Perkins in India. He works closely with Perkins electric power (EP) Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), industrial OEMs and our distribution partners Gmmco Power and Powerparts Private Limited to deliver the India strategy and business growth plan.
Pankaj joined Perkins in 2012, having previously worked in the engine industry for over 11 years in cross functional roles including strategy, growth analysis, due diligence, marketing and product development.
As Regional Marketing Manager for South Asia Pankaj was charged with growing Perkins brand awareness in India and across the wider region and led on many successful initiatives designed to drive and realise business growth. In 2015 Pankaj was appointed to the role of India General Sales Manager (GSM). As India GSM he has grown the India sales team and secured new significant business wins for Perkins electric power business.
Pankaj has an MBA from Cornell University, USA; a Master of Science from Florida State University, USA, and a Batchelor of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, India.
