Sany India's crawler crane production plant, located at Chakan, Pune, has been set up with the vision of catering the growing needs of cranes in the Indian market.Sany Heavy Industry India announced the inauguration of its first state-of-the-art and fully integrated crawler crane production line. Consul-General of PRC Niu Qingbao and Dilip Mohite Patil, MLA, were present as the chief guests for the inaugural function. Richard Deng, MD of Sany India and TR Badarinarayan, CEO, with all Sany's prestigious customers, were also present for the function.Located at Chakan, Pune, Sany India's crawler crane production plant has been set up with the vision of catering the growing needs of cranes in the Indian market. "Work at the plant has begun with the production of all popular models of Sany cranes in India. With this state-of-the-art plant, Sany aims to achieve higher customer delight through faster delivery, better product features and a wider range of optional attachments," said Zeng Zhihong, Director Sales of Sany Heavy Industry India.He added, "The Chakan plant will put an end to cranes being imported all the way from our China plant. Earlier, the crawler cranes were to be imported from Sany China according to customer requirements. However, looking at the constant growth of the crane market and the products receiving higher appreciation by the Indian customer, Sany has taken step forward to start production of cranes at its manufacturing facility at Chakan, Pune in India."Sany China holds the world record for manufacturing the world's largest crawler crane, the CC86000TM (3,600T); it shows that Sany has mastered the manufacturing competence and technology to independently produce the world's top crawler crane; Sany India too, will reach new heights soon. Sany accounted for about 20 per cent of the market for crawler in 2011.Sany India has established six regional office and 18 service stations, recruited expert teams of more than 40 persons including 11 Chinese experts for crawler cranes. The company has designed and acquired several service vans equipped with testing and repairing apparatus. Sany has warehouses in different locations like Mumbai (main warehouse), Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Panvel, Nagpur, Ahmedabad , etc, where all spare parts are stored, making it easy and less time-consuming for parts supply. Big warehouses in all the major cities have stock of 7,000 types of spares worth over Rs 30 crore. To ensure minimum downtime, Sany provides 24x7 service and parts support to its customers in India.Under the guideline of swift-and-responsible, Sany periodically carries out value-added activities, such as free machine health check-up and technical upgradation, and, also provides training to all levels of people including customer operators and site supervisors. The whole system ensures that their machines have minimum downtime and provide maximum reliable performance.With its commitment to maximum contribution towards society, Sany conducted a blood donation camp in March at its factory premises and about a hundred employees, including management staff, donated blood.
