In India, the Bosch Group has its presence in the mining industry with Bosch Rexroth offering drive and control solutions and other divisions offering fuel injection systems for mining equipment and security technologies. To gain deeper penetration, Bosch will be tying up with local system integrators for retrofit projects to offer end-to-end solutions. “Bosch has developed value added application solutions that help minimise downtime and lower lifecycle cost for the user,” commented Dr Steffen Berns, President, Bosch Group India and Managing Director, Bosch Ltd. India’s mining industry is expected to grow in line with the country’s GDP growth forecast. Bosch India expects its business in this sector to grow significantly over the five years.
