Autodesk announced the appointment of Sunil MK as head of its Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) business, for its India operations. In his new role Sunil will be responsible for driving Autodesk's growth and increasing adoption of its offerings in the AEC industries in India. Autodesk, a global leader in AEC design technologies, is optimistic about India given the country's strong focus in recent times on infrastructure development and construction.
In his previous role, Sunil was responsible for enhancing Autodesk's business with strategic programmes in Architecture, Construction and Engineering division to develop market presence in the Asia Pacific and boost profitable growth. He also worked closely with governments in the Asia Pacific region to understand the benefits of Building, Information, Modelling (BIM) technology and to help design policies and mandates for BIM with government customers and their ecosystem. An industry veteran, he brings more than 20 years of experience in Technical, Sales and Technology-driven design studios in Architecture and Construction.

Sunil is a Chartered Architect with a degree in Architecture, from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and is a Member of Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
